GP2GP Requesting Adaptor

Use this adaptor to create Electronic Health Record (EHR) requests and translate the responses from HL7 V3 into FHIR format.

Overview

Use this adaptor to transfer patients' electronic health records between old and new practices when they change GPs.

You can:

  • include large records and those with many attachments

  • reduce paper printing when patients leave a practice

  • receive Electronic Health Records (EHR) in HL7 V3

  • convert FHIR EHRs into HL7 V3 messages

  • respond to sending systems with acknowledgment messages

For more details, see GP2GP.
