Our Regional Teams are crucial to our mission of ‘Lead our Sport, Inspire our Communities’. We are currently looking to recruit a Go-Ride Community Coach in partnership with Nottingham City Council. The role will be based within Nottingham City and you will be given all the tools and support to ensure your success in the role. The role exists to develop and deliver a programme of high quality, professional coaching activities to a range of participants that are progressive and reflective of the needs of the local community in Nottingham. You will be required to deliver in a number of settings including, schools, local clubs and community spaces. This is a great opportunity for you to really make an impact at community level and develop cyclists of all abilities.

You’ll build and sustain strong effective working relationships at all levels across British Cycling. You’ll identify areas for development and develop potential recommendations overcoming barriers and developing relationships. In return for delivering consistent results, you’ll receive the opportunity to learn and develop, as well as exciting opportunities to broaden your role and potentially move around the organisation.

What you need is:

We are keen to hear from candidates with sound knowledge of coaching, cycling and/or sport and the associated physical activity delivery. Candidates should be aware of the current developments in cycling in terms of the transport, health and recreational agendas and should have a track record in coaching, partnership working and development and where project delivery can be demonstrated.

This is a profession which is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check will be required.
