My Story

I work for Children's Hospice South West as a receptionist at Charlton Farm, our hospice not far from Clifton Suspension Bridge where I will be running the Bristol 10K.  CHSW is an amazing charity set up to care for children, and their families, as they face life limiting conditions.  Each day, I see how the hospice makes a difference to the children, their parents, siblings and other family members and friends, as support is given with such care. 

It is a privilege to help raise money for this amazing charity which, in turn, is also giving back to me.  Getting my running shoes on again is definitely helping my own wellbeing having lost my Mum two years ago.
