Study Days: Catholic Life in the Church of England

Saturday 27th April, 4th May, 11th May, 18th May 10am – 4pm. Each day begins with Mass at 10am and ends with Choral Evensong & Benediction at 3pm, with talks at 11am, 12 Noon and 1pm.

 

  • Saturday 27th April: Catholic Life at the Altar: the Mass and Catholic Life with Archbishop Rowan Williams, Fr Michael Leyden, and Mthr Mel Marshall. Celebrant: Fr Christopher Trundle. Preachers: Fr Peter Groves, and Mthr Kathryn Fleming. Orders of Service: 10am Mass; 3pm Evensong.

 

  • Saturday 4th May: Catholic Life throughout the Day: Prayer, Discernment and Community with Fr Nicolas Stebbing CR, Mthr Mitzi James, and Fr Ben Kerridge. Preacher: Fr Peter Allan CR. Orders of Service: 10am Mass.

 

  • Saturday 11th May: Catholic Life in Relations: Singleness, Celibacy and Marriagewith Professor Morwenna Ludlow, the Rev’d Cecile Schnyder, and Fr Charlie Bell. Celebrant: Mthr Shana Maloney. Preachers: Mthr Buki, and Mthr Esther Lay. Orders of Service: 10am Mass.

 

  • Saturday 18th May: Catholic Life in the World: Baptism, Justice and Evangelism with Mthr Tina Beardsley, Fr Jarel Robinson-Brown and Mthr Katy Cunliffe. Celebrant: Fr Simon.  Trundle. Preachers: Bishop Joanne of Stepney, and Mthr Arwen Folkes. Orders of Service: 10am Mass.

 

Regular Events at St Peter’s

Warm Welcome: Wednesdays 12 – 4.30pm 

Each Wednesday we are opening as a space of warm welcome from 12 – 4.30pm. Join us to find a warm and friendly space to share company with others or take some worry out of putting your heating on during the day. A range of activities (Fun, Food & Fellowship). All welcome. Volunteers needed, contact Simon to find out how you can help!

Crafty Church! Sundays at 10am Our new children’s offering during term time is a place for children to have fun, ask questions and explore faith through craft alongside a drink and a snack. Children (with parental/carer supervision for their first visit or if under Reception age) begin downstairs in the crypt at 10am, before joining the service upstairs at 10.45am. Volunteers needed.

Worship & Regular Services

Join us every Sunday at 10am for our Eucharist (with Noisy Church and activities for children) – the heart of our parish life. Come along on Saturdays from January at 10am for our Growing Deeper series (Healing, Silence, Scripture, Conversation). Mark the rhythm of the day with morning and evening prayer Monday to Wednesday & Friday, 8.30am & 5.30pm. Support us to grow our reach. Come along to explore your faith, celebrate our community, and find your place in our church family & God’s Church.
