Family Business Week

Future Leaders

20 - 24 November 2023

What is Family Business Week?

Family Business Week is a week-long celebration of family businesses as a force for good.

Family firms are the backbone of the UK economy and the bedrock of our communities. However, the scale of their impact and contribution is often underestimated.

Family Business Week is designed to ensure the contribution family firms make to our economy and communities up and down the country is recognised and celebrated.  Led by Family Business UK, the week is an opportunity for everyone to get behind family businesses and show their support.

This year’s theme “Future Leaders” will shine a spotlight on innovative and pioneering family business leaders and organisations that are shaping the future of family business for the next generation.

We will also be sharing advice and support on how to develop future leaders within your family business, and supporting the next generation in developing the skills they need to lead successfully.

“Family businesses are the backbone of our economy, and the bedrock of our communities. Their innovative and long-term outlook is second to none. Family Business Week is a great opportunity to celebrate the incredible work of family businesses, and talk about how we can ensure these businesses thrive for generations to come.”
