Training
East Region RDC offer training for both new instructors to the industry and for those already within the industry wishing to upgrade their existing qualification. We offer both the Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training (L2AICT) and the Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training with Recognised Prior Learning (L2AICTRPL).

This course costs - £750 + VAT.
Post course assessment visits will each be charged at £175 + VAT.

Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training with Recognised Prior Learning (L2AICTRPL)

This course costs - £300 + VAT.
Post course observation of performance visits will each be charged at £175 + VAT.

Continuing Professional Development
East Region RDC as a consortium of local authorities believes strongly in providing the best Continuing Professional Development for its instructors.
As additional CPD courses and opportunities are developed these will be shared to all instructors through this portal.
Awarding Body
East Region RDC delivers accredited cycle training qualifications awarded by 1st4sport Qualifications.
These qualifications have been developed in partnership with The Bikeability Trust to enable individuals to progress and deliver Bikeability cycle training.
