An update on calls to suspend QOF/ IIF for the remainder of 2022/23, following on from local requests made in December.

TPP practices have until 27 January to opt-out of automatic records access, ahead of the 1 February switch on date. EMIS practices who have not opted-out should already have their switch on dates.

On 23 January, Dr Michelle Drage, our CEO, was quoted in a GPOnline piece on plans to end free PPE provision. On 10 January Michelle was quoted in a Pulse piece on GPs’ calls for solutions to the winter crisis. We have also provided information in response to requests from The Guardian and the BMJ.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests.
