We are delighted to announce the next hvoss Talk Community Funding Network of 2021 – a not to be missed FREE event for anyone looking at future sustainability within the local community.
This FREE event will help to illustrate the importance of funding for projects as part of a wider menu of opportunities for not-for-profit organisations .
- be inspired by stories local community representatives that have succeeded in gaining significant funding and resources for local services and charitable activities.
- learn helpful tips from funders and sharing of good practice from both funders and local organisations.
- network and make contacts with other colleagues and services in the community.
The event is for staff, volunteers, and trustees of Herefordshire community sector organisations including voluntary and community groups, registered charities, CICs, Social Enterprises and other third sector organisations.
Funding is just one aspect of a sustainable success. hvoss Talk Community holding a series of events exploring this in 2021.

We will be joined by –
Nick Webster - Economic Development Manager at Herefordshire Council who will talk us through the UK Community Renewal Fund which is providing £220 million across the UK for innovative projects that invest in skills development, communities and businesses and improve local employment opportunities. Deadline is Sunday 23 May 2021, so don't miss this opportunity to learn more!
Madeleine Spinks - Co-Chief Executive at Data Orchard, will share some top tips on sourcing and applying data to support your funding applications. Data Orchard is a social enterprise which combines specialist skills in research, statistics and data with a passion for making the world a better place socially, economically and environmentally.
Tim Barnes - General Manager at Community Action Ledbury, will talk to us about his experience of trust fundraising. Community Action Ledbury is a registered charity working to improve the lives of the elderly, disabled and other vulnerable people living in and around the town of Ledbury in Herefordshire.
There will be time allowed for questions to the speakers.
