“CEN stands shoulder to shoulder with parents, families and carers who are experiencing issues with their children's education."

Our aim is to ensure that all the adults key to a child's learning work cohesively in order that children have access to and retain their right to be included in mainstream education. We work to support the entire school community offering advice, support, and representation for parents.

We have a team of staff and volunteer Education Advocates who are on hand to provide advice and support if a child is experiencing problems at school, particularly with fixed term or permanent exclusion.

However, we also understand that sometimes issues arise that may require a collective approach according to the varied needs of children and families, which is why we also offer to signpost students and parents to a range of external organisations for additional support.
